Enshake® Recipe

Bread and Butter Pudding

  • 1 sachet of Enshake® vanilla (96.5g)
  • 12 slices of white bread, crusts removed
  • Butter (55g)
  • 3 tablespoons of marmalade
  • Cream (400ml)
  • Whole milk (240ml)
  • 4 eggs
  • Caster sugar (165g)


  1. Pre heat oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4
  2. Butter the bread and spread the marmalade on each slice
  3. Cut each slice in half
  4. Arrange the bread in a greased oven proof dish
  5. Blend Enshake®, milk and cream together in a blender until dissolved
  6. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together and add to the blender
  7. Add the cream to the blender and mix well
  8. Pour the mixture over the bread and leave to soak for 10 minutes
  9. Place dish in the oven and cook for 60 minutes until the top is golden and the centre is soft
  10. Serve immediately

Serving suggestions:

  • Serve with freshly whipped cream
