Nepro® HP Recipe

Meat Loaf

Serves 6


Approximate nutrient content per serving(240g)

For the loaf:

  • Breadcrumbs (75g)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon of dried sage
  • Minced beef (750g)

For the topping:

  • 1 bottle of Nepro® HP vanilla (220ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of dry mustard powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 30g shredded cheddar cheese


For the loaf:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, eggs, onion and sage
  3. Add the mince and thoroughly mix
  4. Spread the mixture into a loaf pan
  5. Bake for approximately 1 hour
  6. Remove from the oven and pour off any excess liquid

For the topping:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the Nepro® HP, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard powder and nutmeg
  2. Pour the Nepro® HP mixture on top of the loaf
  3. Sprinkle with cheese
  4. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes and serve warm
