Meat Loaf

Ingredients:
For the loaf:
- Breadcrumbs (75g)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ teaspoon of dried sage
- Minced beef (750g)
For the topping:
- 1 bottle of Nepro® HP vanilla (220ml)
- 2 tablespoons of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of dry mustard powder
- ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
- 30g shredded cheddar cheese
Method:
For the loaf:
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4
- In a medium bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, eggs, onion and sage
- Add the mince and thoroughly mix
- Spread the mixture into a loaf pan
- Bake for approximately 1 hour
- Remove from the oven and pour off any excess liquid
For the topping:
- In a large bowl, mix together the Nepro® HP, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard powder and nutmeg
- Pour the Nepro® HP mixture on top of the loaf
- Sprinkle with cheese
- Bake in the oven for 5 minutes and serve warm
