Vanilla Scones

Ingredients:
- 220ml Ensure® Plus Advance vanilla flavour
- 450g self-raising flour
- 50g white sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 185g margarine
- 50ml whole milk
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180oC /350oF / Gas Mark 4
- In a large mixing bowl, sieve together the flour, sugar and salt
- With a knife, cut the margarine into small chunks and add to the flour mixture
- Work the flour mixture with your fingertips until a breadcrumb texture is formed
- Add Ensure® Plus Advance and milk, small amounts at a time, until a firm dough is formed
- Roll out onto a floured surface and cut the dough into round circles, approximately 1 inch thick
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes
- Serve either warm or cold
