Enshake® Recipe

Vanilla Shake Cake

  • ½ sachet of Enshake® vanilla (48.2g)
  • Whole milk (150ml)
  • ½ teaspoon of lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • Self raising flour (175g)
  • Margarine, softened (150g)
  • Caster sugar (175g)
  • 2 medium eggs
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Pre heat oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4
  2. In a large bowl, cream the margarine and sugar together with a wooden spoon
  3. Gradually add in the eggs whilst mixing
  4. Add the flour and salt and stir well until a smooth mixture forms
  5. In a shaker, mix together Enshake® and milk until dissolved
  6. Add Enshake®, lemon and almond extracts to the flour mixture and stir gently
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 inch loaf tin
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until a metal skewer inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean
  9. Place on a cooling rack to cool
